Dear Brother's:

It is with great pleasure that we announce the Sigma Alpha Mu, Beta Tau Chapter at Northeastern University is finally back!  Although it has been a challenge we are so excited to officially operate with the support of Both National and Northeastern once again.

As a lifetime brother of Sigma Alpha Mu we thought you would be interested in the journey we took to get here, as well as exploring with you our future plans.  Having been lucky enough to befriend a few Sammy Grads, 18 Northeastern University students from the Northeast area decided that what we were missing in our college careers were the sense of belonging to something as great as a fraternity that would last us through our years in college, and with brothers that would last us a lifetime.  After a year of persistence and dedication we proudly represent Sigma Alpha Mu at Northeastern University. 

As the new school year approaches we are beginning to plan brotherhood events, recruitment strategies and fundraisers.  Our main goal as a new chapter is to get to know you, the alumni, because without the foundation and history of a Fraternity our traditions are lost.  We are writing this e-mail as a way of reaching out to you in an attempt to build strong bonds with the brothers of Beta Tau.

With frequent e-mails and this web site, http://www.sigmaalphamunu.com, we want to unite both active and past brothers can keep in touch and stay up-to-date with the chapter's activities and plan.  Although we are ambitious and committed, we are aware that without a future of more great guys, our chapter cannot grow, so we could appreciate and welcome any suggestions and promotions to any friends and family you know who will be attending or already attend Northeastern.

In addition to the web site, we plan on building a scholarship fundraiser within our chapter, to recognize and reward students who excel in their studies and extracurricular activities.  With your future support and generosity we look forward to a successful foundation for this worthy cause.

As you may already know, this is Sigma Alpha Mu's 100th anniversary year kick off!  In recognition, a dinner is being held in Boston and we would love it if you would attend and participate in the planning of this event (more information on this will follow).
